Heather is a Holistic Nutrition Professional, is a member of the National Association of Nutritional Professionals (NANP), and plans to become board-certified in Holistic Nutrition (BCHN®). She is also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200), and sees the close connection her nutritional background and the mindfulness practice of Yoga have with one another in developing a balance in all facets of life.
“When I first enrolled in my studies at the Nutritional Therapy Institute I had no idea the paths my training would open up in my own life. I have always been fascinated by how the foods we eat can either support or degrade the systems in our bodies, but I never really fully grasped how much deeper it goes than just the food we put in our mouths.”
